2006-02-26 [Paul Doyle]: Well, the original was something I used to watch, in the late 1970s, shortly after the original "Star Wars" film came out. As an adult, it's so much fun watching Rick Springfield (a few years before he did the hit song "Jessie's Girl") get blown to bits in the pilot episode. In that one the Cylon robots (bad guys) were silver-color clunky things with flashing red LED eyes. In the new version (on the SciFi channel, which I haven't seen) the Cylon robot is actually an android of a beautiful but deadly woman. :B

2006-03-27 [Sunrose]: But the contest doesn't ask for scientifically correct entries. It asks how Elftron should look science fiction wise, the rest is up to the artist to imagine :P And why are you picking on [Mom]'s entry? I think it looks great! :D

The funny thing is I actually got a chance to work on mine, after a lot of delays (physical sickness, family issues, etc, etc), and had we been following this practice of ending the contest at the end of the day (which would have been 11:59PM tonight, ET time) I most certainly would have mine fully done. http://elftown
